Cycling and camping with children gives a completely personal aspect to travelling. Often you get the world presented as seen through their eyes.
For them it is one great adventure especially when you go free camping or by a farmer.
The contact with people in the countries in which you are travelling is also different, you meet even more cordiality and kindness.
As for the remarks the children make, it is a good thing that Dutch is little understood in the world, because especially young children say what they see in a very direct way.
It is nice to see, physical and mental abilities grow just as with normal growth, every time they learn a lot and are able do a bit more, until the parents have difficulties in keeping up with them.

		Part 1: A general overview of the travels from baby until 7. What struck us most and what we thought was the most important for very small children.
	Part 2: As child in a basket on the rear of the bicycle through tropical countries. How a child experiences a total different culture, sitting on the back of the bicycle with her father.
	Part 3: Mastering the Alps with 8. Small legs easely cross the Alp passes and the children feel it really as big fun.
	Part 4: 7 years young from Portugal to the Netherlands. All four cycled 3.500 km over the Pyrenees to the Netherlands with enormous joy. Our newly adopted son had just learned cycling but had no difficult in fulfill the trip.
	Part 5: Poland a wonderful rural experience. 2160 km in 4 weeks through a rural Poland. Fernando thought drunken Polen most amusing.
	Part 6:Czechoslovakia still being one country. However likewise two very different regions. A piece of Northern Hungary was even more different!
	Part 7: Slovenia and a small part of Croatia. Pieces of former Yugoslavia, which was still further falling apart, meanwhile the civil war was raging in Bosnia.
